I've had a few questions about Jace Campbell since I posted a request for prayer for his family and for baby Jace. His site is at CaringBridge and you do have to have a password to sign in to visit, but the password is your own. You must register your information and then you're able to visit the site. There is no charge for registering.
I thought I would share the last post on his progress written yesterday! You can visit his site here! Thank you for asking about him and for praying! He is doing so much better.
On behalf of Lydia, Rocky and the whole family-I wanted to share the latest with all of you who are so faithful for praying for our family.
Jace had a great day yesterday!! He had his first outpatient physical therapy session since coming home -He was a little champ! The sweet therapists who had cared for him in the hospital worked with him again-they were so encouraged as he has made so many improvements in just a week since coming home. They were of course happy to get to see him again and see the brightness in his blue eyes-and showed his momma lots of new exercises and stretches to do with him at home.
Next our sweet friend Ginger worked with him on his sucking reflex and confirmed that it is definitely getting stronger!!!!
We give GOD the glory!
As each day passes we see Jace growing stronger. We wait and watch expectantly to see him smile, be able to feed on his own and hear his little cry again- We know it's just a matter of time!
We continue to see GOD"S glory being revealed to us.
There are so many things that God is doing in our midst that it would take pages to share -As we watch expectantly to see our sweet boy do new things each day, we have found such strength in drawing close to each other and to Jesus.
Last night we sat down together with Billy's guitar(Andrew played too!) and had some worship time together- I think we had all forgotten how awesome it can be just to worship together! The work that the Lord has done in all of our families, The Campbells, The Burtons, The Whitlocks and The Parkmans, is knitting our hearts together --
We thank Him for the love that is growing in all of our families, for Him and for each other.
We ask that you would continue to pray for strength for all of us-especially Lydia and Rocky.
And continuing to thank God with us for the miracle of Jace! This journey is one that daily builds our strength and hope but mostly our understanding of Christ and His great love for us.
Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope.
